MoDOT to begin paving work on Route 370 and Interstate 270 ramps starting week of August 10

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close various ramps at Route 370 and Interstate 270 for paving work starting the week of August 10. This operation also includes paving sections of Route 370. Ramp closures will occur weekly starting at 3 p.m. and remain in place during the week. Paving on Route 370 occurs nightly from 6 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. All work is weather permitting.

The following ramps are scheduled to close:

  • Week of August 10- The eastbound Route 370 ramp to southbound I-270 (exit 12A) ramp will close from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. Motorists can use northbound I-270 to Missouri Bottom Road (exit 12B) and turn around to southbound I-270. Up to two eastbound Route 370 lanes will close for paving between the Discovery Bridge over the Missouri River and I-270.
  • Week of August 17- The northbound I-270 ramp to westbound Route 370 (exit 22A) will close. Motorists can detour to Missouri Bottom Road and turn around to access westbound Route 370.
  • Week of August 24- The northbound I-270 ramp to Missouri Bottom Road (exit 22A) will close. Motorists can use Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard) (exit 25) as a detour.
  • Week of August 31 – The Eastbound Route 370 to Missouri Bottom Road ramp will close. Motorists can use northbound I-270 to Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard) (exit 25) as a detour.
  • Week of September 7- The Missouri Bottom Road ramp to southbound I-270 will close. Motorists can detour to westbound Route 370 to Route 141 (exit 9).
  • Week of September 14- The Missouri Bottom Road ramp to westbound Route 370 will close. Motorists can detour to southbound I-270 to Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) (exit 20B).
